Yes, in notified areas (Critical/Over-Exploited zones), NOC from GSDA is mandatory. Even in non-notified areas, registration is recommended.
Fees vary by category:
No. During official drought/scarcity declaration, new borewells are prohibited in affected talukas. Only repair of existing borewells allowed with permission.
7/12 extract is Maharashtra's land ownership record. It's required to prove you own the land where borewell will be dug. Obtain from Talathi office or mahabhumi.gov.in
Tanker registration is managed by local municipal corporations. For rural areas, contact Gram Panchayat or Taluka office. GPS tracking may be mandatory in urban areas.
